Week of 18 Jan 2010 at Snapper
G'day All from The Perfect Wave Gallery
The idyllic summer conditions are running on at Snapper Rocks and Duranbah with hot days – Monday the 18th hit somewhere around the 36 mark (hot for up here) the skies have been blue the water has been magic, not much wind and of course not much swell either. It's been great getting out early, the surfs been really glassy. Unfortunately by around lunch the northerly onshore winds have been kicking in and this week there have been heaps of blue bottles blowing in as a result. Wednesday the 20th though bought with it a small pulse of the ESE swell that around the 3ft mark. It was quite pleasant to turn up at D’bah and actually see some decent waves and an offshore wind! Checking out the forecast looked the 21st was going to be a decent sort of day with around 4ft of swell and light winds, sadly it dropped back to around the 2ft mark - at least there were some good waves down in Sydney!Snappers continues to be pretty slow with hardly a wave to be seen.Hope you all have a great week, feel free to drop me a message and say G'day.
Cheers, Paul
